About The West Mill, Derby …
The West Mill is a riverside venue along the river Derwent that’s been transformed from an industrial cotton spinning mill into an exclusive use wedding venue. The Grade 1 listed building has been restored to a high standard whilst retaining many of its original features, split over four floors that cater for the ceremony, wedding breakfast, reception area and a party room. A great venue with tonnes of wedding photography opportunities.
Exclusive Accommodation …
There’s plenty of space to stay with eight en-suite double bedrooms in The Mill House, there’s also The Mill Cottage with it’s own kitchen, two bathrooms, three double bedrooms, one twin room and sofa bed sleeping up to 10 adults. Perfect for the big day.
Food …
Food is done a little differently allowing couples to choose rather than from set menus, canapés are optional and having been here many times I can honestly say they’re lovely. So are the main courses too!
