FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS – screen PHOTOGRAPHY

Being a full time professional photographer with years of knowledge and experience photographing weddings across the United Kingdom, I’m able to put my couples at ease by capturing quality and providing professionalism throughout.

With various packages available and ones that will suit most, I limit the amount of weddings I photograph each year ensuring that every couple is provided with same level of high service. And by offering packages with eight hours or more, I will never miss those cherished moments from your preparations through to the evening allowing for a more relaxed approach instead of trying to cram everything into a couple of hours. Less hours usually amounts to more posed photographs and rushing around from your wedding photographer and day, missing those candid moments we all like and want from wedding photography.

If your wedding day has a later ceremony time, is out of season or a weekday then I will reduce the hours. Just ask for a bespoke quotation.

I also work all over the United Kingdom flying various sized drones photographing exclusive properties, agricultural land and construction sites for many blue chip companies. Usually under strict non disclosure contracts not allowing to showcase the imagery or videography I capture.

Typically very relaxed throughout the day and will shoot in a number of styles including reportage (candid) and contemporary styled providing yourselves with a mixed choice for your wedding album or wall art. Something I will always discuss with you when we go through the timings and formalities of the day.

A password protected gallery is usually delivered within six weeks during the very busy peak season, sometimes sooner and as early as a week or two. Many couples love a few social media sneak peeks a few days after and always happy to provide these.

Most packages include a second photographer allowing coverage from the front and rear of the ceremony, top table speeches and guest reactions around the room. But most importantly a lot more candid and natural photographs during the day.

We can also be in two places at once for bridal and groom preparations, so you can both see the getting ready images when the gallery is ready.

Hopefully the wedding packages offer a good variety of options, but if not please call or contact us through the website as we can tailor hours, album sizes, page spreads or add on the fun, funky and retro photo-booth.

Yes, this is something I add into many packages as I’m fully licensed by the CAA holding several permissions and have over seven years commercial flying experience. There’s no extra charge although due to the UK drone law, permissions and our weather this is based on the contractural terms and conditions for each wedding, and commercial job I undertake.

I currently hold a CAA OA (Operational Authorisation) drone licence and the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC). Digital copies are available on request for the venues needs along with my insurance documents.

Coming from an I.T. career which took me all over the UK and ROI I love a good road trip and have found myself photographing weddings on a private island off the Devon coast, a cliff top in Cornwall and in the forests of North Yorkshire and the Peak District. Destination weddings will incur some travelling expenses which will be included with your quotation.

Yes public liability for both ground based photography and all aspects of drone imagery as you need to have separate policies, also employer and full professional indemnity insurance. Digital copies are available on request for the venues requirements along with my CAA OA (Operational Authorisation) drone licence and the A2 Certificate of Competency (A2 CofC).

All equipment is all fully PAT tested.

To confirm the wedding day photography a non refundable booking fee of 25% is required, and must be paid to secure the date of your wedding. Working on a first come first served basis as popular dates tend to go quickly and can do so years ahead. The final balance is due one calendar month before the wedding date, full terms and conditions of wedding bookings are available on request and are always sent out with package quotations.

Albums are included within a few packages and can also be purchased afterwards if you opted for a digital or bespoke package. The process of selecting your favourite images is very simple and this is done by selecting them from your private gallery, once chosen we can then discuss additional pages, front cover images, wording etc.
