Hodsock Priory Estate

Is a historic country house wedding venue set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. It’s fine architecture and immaculately kept grounds create exceptional backdrops for weddings, corporate events and celebrations all year round.

Home to the Buchanan family for nine generations, Hodsock Priory Estate has been lovingly restored by current owners Sir Andrew and Lady Buchanan, the house is grandeur and luxury just like it stood back in 1829. With extensive period features throughout, antique furniture and classical portraiture, the main house has modern spaces, which have been sympathetically designed to complement the rich, traditional feel of the Priory.

The magnificent grounds are in bloom throughout all seasons and is well known for their snowdrops. The main lake has a river running through the grounds with walkway bridges allowing easy access to the woodland areas. Ceremonies are licensed indoors and out.
